WAA Portrait Classes & Workshops
Artists interested in portraiture are well provided for at WAA. Members can attend an untutored portrait workshop to practice their art, working from life. We take turns in posing for our colleagues or in arranging for a friend to be painted or drawn.
For those seeking tuition, Alan Close, teaches in all mediums, and one of his specialities is showing his students how to create a life-like portrait from a favourite photo - great for portraits of family, friends and pets.
